The format of every video posted will either be mp4 or m4v.
These are the two sole iPod-compatible video formats.
Which one I use depends on the source of the particular video (see Sources). Some sources convert better into mp4, and some convert better into m4v. Video quality is the main focus here (see Quality), so whichever format results in better quality will be the one used.
